We are pleased to announce that all our staff members are fully vaccinated against Covid 19. Katie has rejoined us following the birth of her daughter Freya. Please click on one of us to book. Osteopathy is mainly used to treat back pain, arthritis, sciatica, headaches, sports injuries, pregnancy pains and conditions associated with childhood. Osteopaths train for four years full time and learn a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of conditions. Our manual treatment gently works on the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that well-being depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.

After qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy in London in 1989, Mary spent a year working as a locum osteopath throughout the UK. She then worked in London, where she established her own practices, in South Wimbledon and Chessington, Surrey. During this time she did underpaid work with the London Olympians American Football Team. She has also held a supervisory position, in the clinical education of trainee paediatric osteopaths at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in Harley Street. In 2003 Mary took a sabbatical in New Zealand, where she treated a diverse range of patients including bee keepers, Maori fishermen and ski instructors before returning to Hest Bank. Mary enjoys treating a wide range of conditions including arthritis, chronic and complex cases, babies and children, pregnant and post-partum mothers. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, swimming, walking, rowing and reading.

I love my job as every person is unique and every case is different. Osteopathy allows me to preform the best treatment possible by treating the patient as an individual
